Luscious, rich and spreadable Brillat Savarin is a favorite on any cheese plate. A fairly mild cheese, it is perfect when spread on a crusty bread or water cracker. A little buttery and sweet, with just a touch of buttercream tang and salt.
Wine Pairing: Sparkling wines are the perfect pairing to cut through the rich and creamy cheese. Champagne or Cremant make great choices. A light red such as Beaujolais or Pinot Noir also works, as well as a crisp Sauvignon Blanc.
